Patterns, Brighton
Patterns sits on Marine Parade, less than 200 yards from Brighton Pier, in a building that’s been a music venue for decades. It’s the site of the old Escape and Audio clubs, whose past guests include The Stone Roses, Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers. The building was reborn as Patterns in 2015, with a stripped-back redesign, a beefed-up sound system and a sea-facing terrace. Club nights run through house, techno, jungle, drum and bass and UK garage, alongside live gigs. It’s also an official venue for The Great Escape festival every May.
